Thank you for joining the candle workshops at Matse Studio. The following information sets out the terms and conditions that constitute our Workshop Policy.

1. Reservation Requirements

• Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot.

2. Confirmation

• You will receive an email confirmation of your booking once payment is received.

• An email or SMS reminder will be sent 24 hours before the workshop.

​

3. Language Offerings

• Workshops can be delivered in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

• Please contact us for any specific language requirements or accommodations.

• If not specified or if workshops include participants who speak different languages, English will be used as the main language.

4. Group Bookings and Last-Minute Requests

• If you'd like to make a group booking for more than one person, please contact us directly.

• If you wish to book a slot within 24 hours, please feel free to contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling 

• Cancellations made up to 48 hours before the workshop start time are fully refundable.

• Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the workshop start time are non-refundable.

• Please contact us immediately if you need to cancel or reschedule your workshop.

• New rescheduling dates/times are subject to confirmation.

• If we need to cancel the workshop due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, you will have the option to either reschedule the session or receive a full refund.

6. No-Show Policy

• If you do not attend the workshop, your payment will not be refunded.

7. Late Arrival Policy

• Participants who arrive more than 30 minutes late without prior notice will be considered a “no show.” In this case, the cost of the workshop will not be refunded, and rescheduling will not be possible. If you wish to attend a workshop at a later date, a new order will need to be placed.

8. Refund Policy

• No refunds will be issued once the workshop has been attended.

• We reserve all rights regarding these policies and may refuse service to individuals who fail to adhere to them.

9. Waitlist

• If a workshop is fully booked, you can join the waitlist by signing up on our website or contacting our customer service team.

• Once notified of an available spot, you will have 3 hours to confirm your participation and make the necessary payment.

• Failure to confirm within 3 hours will result in the spot being offered to the next person on the waitlist.

• If you no longer wish to remain on the waitlist, please notify us as soon as possible to free up space for others.

10. Workshop Time and Communication

• The scheduled workshop time serves as a reference, and we may finish earlier or later than expected based on each participant’s progress. We encourage all participants to communicate any issues or concerns during the workshop. If concerns are not raised at the time, we will not be responsible for any outcomes or issues that arise after participants leave the workshop room.

11. Respect and Conduct

• At our workshops, we are committed to creating an inclusive and respectful environment for all participants. We have a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination, harassment, or offensive behaviour of any kind. If any participant makes another person feel uncomfortable or unsafe, we reserve the right to remove the individual from the workshop immediately. Furthermore, such individuals will be blacklisted from participating in any of our future workshops.

12. Disclaimer

• By participating in our workshops, you agree to adhere to our policies and guidelines.

• Matse Studio is not responsible for any injuries, losses, or damages that may occur during the workshop.

• Please note that the candles made in our workshops are for decoration only and are not intended for consumption. We will not be responsible for any harm or injury resulting from the misuse of our products. 

• Participants are responsible for their own safety and well-being during the workshop.

• Please note that we act solely as guides in the candle-making process. While we provide assistance and instructions, we cannot guarantee the final appearance or outcome of the candles produced during the workshop.

• Matse Studio reserves the right to make changes to the workshop schedule, content, and policies without prior notice.
